WNS has bagged the prestigious Golden Peacock Global Award 2020 for WNS Cares Foundation’s (WCF) digital-led programs that seek to co-create an equal future for lesser-privileged children through digital education.
The rising penetration of digital technologies has made it imperative to equip children with skills they will need to stay relevant in the future economy. Over the years, WCF has launched a series of digital education programs to enable children from lesser-privileged backgrounds to benefit from computer-based education. WCF’s programs have played a key role in nurturing digital literacy and future-readiness among these children.
The Golden Peacock Award is a testament to WCF’s constant endeavor to Educate, Empower and Enrich the lives of children by fostering digital inclusion. Its tech-led interventions have made an impact on the lives of over 103,000+ children across 248 schools in 12 countries.
WNS’ Chief Internal Business Officer and CSR Head Gopal Agrawal, along with the entire WCF team, received the award at a gala ceremony held in Mumbai.
