The Challenge
The client wanted to break from master data inaccuracies leading to increasing
fallouts during MRP runs, product planning and availability. They were also facing
high variances in material usage, labor, energy usage and process order.
The WNS Solution
We set up a centralized master data management team and developed standard templates
for plant cost reconciliation, resulting in faster identification of SKUs with cost
differences. WNS also created macros for auto reconciliation of scrap percentage,
for auto settlement of cost in process orders.
