This year's agenda will offer attendees a series of roundtables, case study-led sessions on the following three themes:
-
Pioneering platforms: As demand for multi-channel experiences grows, how can insurers develop seamless platforms that meet the evolving needs of customers?
-
Transactions transformed: What bottlenecks and common issues can insurers remove from customer transactions to build loyalty and brand equity?
-
Critical upgrades: How can insurers improve customer engagement by tackling tech challenges like lack of integration and outdated systems?

Roundtable Topic: In the Talent Trenches: What You Need, What You Have, What to Retain
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the number of insurance professionals 55 and older has increased 74 percent in the last 10 years. BLS estimates that over the next 15 years, 50 percent of the current insurance workforce will retire, leaving more than 400,000 open positions unfilled. Research shows the industry will struggle to replace these workers at every level, mainly because millennials have little interest in insurance careers – less than 25 percent of the industry is under 35.
At the roundtable, WNS’ subject matter experts will share insights on proven approaches to solve staffing challenges, underpinned by global talent and accelerated digital transformation.
The speakers will discuss the following points:
-
Creating innovative ecosystems for your workers to handle the potential fallout of a “return to the office”
-
Training programs are the tip of the arrow – adding / upskilling the retained workers
-
Social media platforms – making insurance a sought-after profession for the millennials, attracting the digital-savvy talent you need
-
Outsourcing talent –a ready solution that gives insurance businesses rapid access to the talent or skills at a cost much lower
