Find out how organisations can achieve real savings – quickly - in their AP function by deploying BizAps SAP add-on solutions. With so many solutions on offer, however –– what’s the right choice?

First-off: no single solution will fully optimise your AP process, but you can find the best fit for you and your suppliers. Learn how to review the applicability of imaging, workflow, OCR, e-invoicing hubs, direct XML links, supplier portals, purchase cards (plastic and lodge), and self billing to your supplier profile and capability – and then make the right choice. Join this free webinar to learn how:
  • Only a blend of solutions can optimise your AP process
  • AP efficiency is positively impacted by good procurement practice
  • Purchase cards can be a route to e-invoicing when aligned to purchase orders
Avoid the common pitfalls like assuming OCR is a solve-all, or that 100% e-invoicing is achievable. Instead, focus on what you can achieve:
  • 40,000 invoices per FTE per annum
  • Processing cycle time reductions of 65%
  • Increase in payments earning discounts
  • On-time payment percentage improved from 15% to 59% Also: map your performance levels to best-in-class industry
  • benchmarks to establish your ‘benefits opportunity’.

WNS Boosts Collaboration and Efficiency with MS SharePoint Foundation 2010

“The co-ordination effort involving 26 employees across 4 locations and our legal counsel, achieved the end-result in a record time of 29 days. We were the first company to close and file our Annual Report with the SEC in our accounting cycle.” - Kumar Subramaniam, Head- Corporate Finance, WNS

WNS (Holdings) Limited is a global business process outsourcing provider whose parent company is registered in Jersey in the Channel Islands with subsidiaries spread across 13 countries. WNS is registered with the New York Stock Exchange, and is therefore required to file with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on an annual basis as a statutory requisite.

The management was required to sequentially e-mail important documents from time-to-time as required by the SEC. Several departments had to collaborate to provide relevant, current and accurate statutory information, which proved to be a real challenge considering the complexity of multiple locations and time zones involved.

WNS deployed an efficient and effective solution to meet the above challenge through the implementation of Microsoft SharePoint Foundation 2010. As a result, WNS’s CFO and his team cut down the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing process from 75 days to a record 29 days, and also reduced the cost involved by a drastic 30 percent.

Speaker
Mr. Alok Misra, Group CFO, WNS Holdings will share the team’s experience in improving business productivity; managing diverse content to facilitate decision-making; increasing security and meeting compliance and legal requirements.

Host - Microsoft
The Executive Circle Webcast is a series of Webcasts by Microsoft on various innovative topics.
Join us to hear how the CFO and team innovatively used technology, and thereby helped save time and money at WNS, and truly created a ‘business without boundaries’.

The past 12 months have proved a challenge for the insurance community and it is clear that the coming year will be equally testing. It is therefore essential that businesses take a full strategic look at their year ahead ensuring that there is a complete understanding of how their organisation functions and where the potential areas for growth are.

It is equally important to recognise where your organisation is struggling and why that may be the case. All too often, this is difficult to see when you are on the inside looking outward. Outsourcing can offer a change of perspective that would otherwise be difficult to achieve.

During this lively debate, BPO companies and their customers will discuss:
  • Advantages and disadvantages of moving straight to BPO.
  • Can shared services and BPO exist side by side and if so, how should activities and responsibilities be split?
  • How do you get governance right where you are dealing with shared services and BPO?
  • Should relationships with BPO centres be managed by your core finance function, or can shared services centres take up the reins?

Sourcing Trio Insight: Buyer/Provider/Advisor Perspectives Taken From The Top - Outsourcing In Asia: What is the Real Value Proposition?

Participants:
Provider: Arijit Sengupta, Managing Director, Asia Pacific and Middle East, WNS Global Services
Buyer: Anil Bhavnani, Director BPO, Global Financial Solutions – Shared Services, Pfizer
Advisor: Gerry Clark, Partner and Regional Director, TPI

This region in particular is faced with unique challenges when it comes to outsourcing. While the value proposition from the U.S., European and Australasia markets have traditionally offered clear advantages from a buyer and provider perspective, how does the Asian market fare with its unique complexities of language, low cost markets and sub-divided regions? Is the appetite changing from a provider perspective and what are the present day demands of the buyer market? What can be learned from the Asia-based companies as they adopt outsourcing to their unique needs? What types of activities do organisations in Asia outsource? How do they structure their business relationships, and with whom and to where?

During this session you will witness a 3-way interview from each industry group (buyer, provider, advisory). The discussion will cover the role each component of the industry plays, how this has changed over the last 12 months and the expected evolutions of the market dynamics going forward.

Re-skilling Readiness & Bridging the Skill Gap - Panel Discussion

Co-panelist:
Keshav Murugesh, Group CEO, WNS Global Services

There were lots of lessons that came gloved in the recession for the BPO sector just as they came for the rest of the business. Companies had to dabble with cost management; skill set realignment and retraining needs. While skill shortage is a reality that is staring India in the face and may be the biggest damper as far as the country’s Demographic dividend is concerned, there is an equal need to focus on creating a workforce that renders itself to re-skilling and retraining.

The session will highlight how the market leaders are working around these challenges to insulate their companies from recessionary havoc. It will also take a closer look at Indian BPOs’ multi-linguistic capabilities.
