This award was for WNS’ innovation program rooted in its mission to ‘enable clients to outperform with passion for service and innovation.’ The components of the WNS Business Process Excellence and Transformation framework are Excellence, Evaluation and Engagement. Under Excellence, we implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies and in-house quality programs such as Brainwave (that generates and implements new ideas on process improvements, cost savings, increased revenue or best practices) and Fusion (an open employee forum based on the principle, ‘each person, each idea counts’).
Brainwave ideas are registered and tracked in a centralized web-based tool with an awards program for the best ideas. Fusion is a platform for sharing process improvement best practices across the organization. Under Evaluation, WNS has a reporting mechanism for process improvement initiatives and audits to keep tabs on outcomes. Under Engagement, employees are motivated toward continuous improvement by way of communication, training and talent management.
